As a Venus Water Customer, you can now pay your water bill with either a Visa or Master Card. You can also pay by phone by contacting 972-366-3348 ext. 202 or 201 Downloadable Forms Utility Rates

A: Bills are currently mailed out on the 1st day of the month and payment is late after 5 p.m. the 15th
Q: Do we receive a late notice before service is discontinued? A: Late notices are mailed out on the 16th of each month and payment for all charges including late charges must be made by 5 p.m. on the 25th or service will be discontinued the following day. After 5 p.m. on the 25th, there is an automatic, non-refundable $20.00 Service Resumption fee added, regardless of whether or not the water was ever turned off.
Q: Are there any penalties added if I am late paying? A: If you pay after 5 p.m. the 15th, a 10% late fee will be added to your bill.
Q: Does the Utility billing Department have a drop box? A: Yes, there is a drop box on the end of city hall in the drive-thru.
Q: What if the due date falls on a weekend? A: The bill will be due the following working day.
Q: Does the city have drafting available to pay my water bill? A: At this time we do not have drafting available, but it is something we may add in the future.
Q: I am a new customer. How can I get service started? A: You will need to fill out a New Service Application and pay your deposit before services will be able to be turned on. If your property is in the city's water district you will need the "Water, Sewer, Garbage Application" and if your property is in the Mt. Peak's Water District you will need the "Sewer and Garbage Application".
Q: What do I need to do to disconnect my service or transfer to another home in Venus? A: You will need to
fill out and turn in a Close-out Service Form for your old address
and then apply for new service for you new home. |
